last friday the whole dept of registry, student services dept (minus melissa) & resource planning unit went for our departmental dinner @ Shogun, One Utama. it was a blast, we had fun, we laughed so hard at each other, we talked, we eat so much (fun-est part).

when i found out Shogun is the same restaurant as Saisaki so i pretty much tau la what to expect, food-wise la. so of course ada sushi, teppayanki, chinese dishes and lots of desserts. best woo~

alhamdulillah, malam tadi mini me tidur agak lena lepas 3-4 hari tidur tak nyenyak. kesian anak mami baru baik demam. 2 malam lepas we took her to the clinic sebab badan dia naik rashes. penuh jugak la muka and badan dia dengan bintik merah. Mr K takut tu chicken pox but doc cakap tu cuma ruam biasa sebab dia demam and panas badan dia tak habis lagi.

malam tadi tidur dia cuma merengek untuk menyusu je itu pun alhamdulillah dia nak menyusu badan :) masa demam hari tu risau jugak sebab dua malam she refused my milk. walaupun i don't Bf her exclusively tapi selagi boleh nak la dia still BF, bukan apa not ready to let her go :( tapi sekarang ni mini me asyik nak menempel dengan i je. Mr K ada comment on this, dia kata maybe i'm pregnant sebab jasmin asyik nak kat i je. hmm betul ke? haha tunggu dan lihat je la. kalau ada alhamdulillah kalau takde cuba lagi, eh? haha

anyway last week masa singgah kedai hardware kat taman sri gombak tu perasan la yang Manjaku dah start pasang extension kat luar kedai. maknanya, Manjaku is having year end sale! yeay for mini me! gaji bulan 12 boleh la guna untuk stock up barang2 mini me yang tak cukup. balik nanti nak kena start buat list of things to buy

y'day on my way balik kerja, sambil2 stuck in jam tu dok pikiaq la what to cook, so decided to stop by kedai runcit kat area rumah untuk beli barang masak. selalunya kalau hari tu nak masak hari tu baru i beli barang2 yang diperlukan contohnya serai, santan and sayurs. selalunya kalau i buat provinsion early every months i only stock up barang2 yang memang pakai hari2 seperti beras, cili padi, telur, ikan bilis, knorr sedap seasoning (a must have for me), ayam seekor and sometimes bawang. kadang2 bawang pun i beli bila nak pakai je. i pernah nak beli all in one shot but then Mr K cakap just beli barang2 yang perlu je sebab kita tak selalu ada kat rumah, kadang2 makan pun kat luar so why membazir beli semua but end up banyak yang dah tak boleh guna sebab dah rosak, which was true. lagipun i find it's much cheaper to buy barang2 such as serai and bawang kat kedai runcit je.

ok, cerita macam dah menyimpang sikit :) anyway i stop by the shop y'day and bought daun limau purut, bawang besar, bawang putih (i know @_@), cili merah, serai, daun ketumbar & daun bawang. so semalam balik terus ke dapur and siapkan barang untuk masak since jmini me is still kat rumah atas. Mr K ke masjid untuk maghrib and sign up for kelas mengaji. menu untuk dinner semalam; ayam goreng pattaya & telur dadar berinti. bila dah siap nampak macam tak berapa awesome sangat sebab presentation skill saya sucks thankyouverymuch.

anyway, semalam ada la orang tu dia ingat dia sangat masterchef so decided to cook two dishes at one time. haa hambik kau sekali telur dadar hangus and hancur a bit, tak bulat cantik. so nak save the telur dari terpaksa buat lagi sekali, i cut the telur into pieces haha tak sangka kreatif jugak teman eh :)

so we ate dinner around 9 something after Mr K came back from masjid and amik jasmin kat rumah atas. alhamdulillah, Mr K makan dengan penuh selera *kembanghidung being a good wife, i let him finish the food and being a nakal one also, i let him finish all 4 pots of rice that he cook. i only took like quarter of the whole pot. kesian lepas makan, dia dok tunjuk perut dia :) but he said dinner was superb! well they do say, 'a way thru you husband heart is thru his belly'

hehe, i don't call myself a good cook. i only know how to cook basic dish macam kuah singgang, kari ikan, masak lemak, tomyam, masak sambal and few dishes of sayur. and oh, i make kick-ass trifle and caserole meat dish! :) for me personally, to call myself a good cook is bila i dapat belajar masak asam pedas. asam pedas for me la kan is quite a complicated dish to cook. i have the recipe but willpower untuk cuba tu tak pernah ada. i'm not a good cook macam maktok, mama and kakak. for me, mereka ni are born to cook, they made cooking look damn easy. even until today i still cook with recipe. kalau takde recipe tak confident sangat. itu normal ke? hehe tak kisah la cos so far Mr K likes my cooking.

my boring tuesday

i was inspired by kak siti's latest blog on DIY tops, so start googling and found one website yang ajar kita buat simple tops, harem pants, toga tops, i was like, ooeemmgee that simple? so nak cari kain, nak try buat sendiri, jahit tu kena la secara manual ye la orang zaman batu macam i ni mana la reti pakai mesin jahit, nama je perempuan. rasanya berzaman kot nak siapkan one top saja, takpe yang penting cuba dulu kan?

kalau tak silap vlog tu pakai cotton jersey, apa benda nya pun i tak paham ok, yang i tau kain chiffon plain RM5 semeter kat nagoya tu je la pengetahuan i pasal kain. yang lain langsung tak tau apa jenis, mana nak cari pun tak sure. tapi kedai kain mesti la ada jual kan kain jenis tu so beli je la, mintak2 tak mahal la kain jenis tu. kalau jadi boleh la start buat online shop, wah besarnya cita2, haha takde la jahit senget benget takkan la nak jual kat orang gila ke apa hehe





anyway hari ni tak banyak keje sangat kat ofis so agak bosan, kepala pun tingtong je rasa @_@

whose december?

hari ni dah 5 dec, cepat betul masa berjalan. pejam celik pejam celik dah nak masuk 2012. what have i accomplished in 2011? not much really. apart from the birth of jasmin, i would prefer to erase every other memory of 2011, i would like to look back and say i have no recollection of what went on in 2011, boleh ke macam tu?

anyway, 25 dec is fast approaching and i still couldn't find a purple dress for jasmin to wear on kak yah's big day. yes, kak yah is finally getting married :) and she is still busy sending out cards which reminds me, i haven't send out any cards to any of my close friends. need to get that done by today i hope.

anyway, any wedding is not complete without it's theme color. we don't really care what's the theme color for the bride & groom, we're more excited on OUR theme color, yeah! for the solemnization, we will be donning black :- plain black chiffon for top and black & white printed kain batik which we bought in Terengganu way back when we went there for Kak Liza's Bertandang (it was in Dec 2010). we bought the black chiffon kat Nagoya je, very cheap RM5 per metre. i always bought the plain chiffon from Nagoya, senang buat baju, tak payah susah2, buat yang simple aje :) as for the bride, she will of course be wearing white for her solemnization.
i think the ceremony will be held at Masjid Al-Khairiyah infront of maktok's.

as for the reception we will be wearing deep purple chiffon also bought at Nagoya. kakak is making a kurung moden, zara is making a dress and as for myself i will be wearing a toga dress, yes a toga dress. very risky, i know. but i saw the design on the internet and instantly fell in love with it and decided to wear that. let's hope i'll be able to pull it off :) oh, the bride she will be wearing this rich purple dress.

since kak yah prefers to decorate her own hantaran, so we will try our best to help her on that. can't wait for the big day to come!

i have learned a very valuable lesson this past few days; and that is,

woke up with a headache

had an awesome yet tiring weekends. woke up early on saturday, get jasmin's stuff ready, bath her, fed her and put her to sleep, all before 8am! yes, that early. then it's me time. had a long cold shower, took my time to decide on what clothes to wear; as usual black top & jeans hehe
then by 9am, received a text from SIL then we are off to Kay-Ell y'all!

we parked at DBKL and walked all the way to jalan tar. first stop: jakel. now, i am not the type to ever shop for kain, never. i don't usually buy kain to make baju. kalau beli pun beli kain siap potong yang orang jual. paling awesome pun, beli kain plain chiffon (kot) kat nagoya, RM5 semeter. and last saturday memang rambang mata la orang cakap, cos jakel was having sale and the kain banyak yang cantik2. since my two SILs are the bridesmaids, so kami tak beli la kain sama. i think by far, i don't mean to brag, i picked the most awesomest, prettiest kain ever! haha macam dah tak sabar nak tunggu SIL jahit and pakai on the wedding day :) i was the first to choose kain, then it was ende's turn, haha lama jugak la sebab ende pun macam rambang mata jugak. after ende's done with her choice, we went one floor up and it was MIL's turn.

agak lama jugak la MIL pilih kain hehe she finally decided on her kain, it was very shweet, me likey! the the two SILs punya turn. they chosed a pink plain satin. when it was paying time, SIL (the one getting married) insisted on paying for my kain. tengs sis, may Allah bless you :) done with the kain, then off to sogo

ingatkan dah alang2 ada kat jalan tar bole la singgah muaz beli tudung tapi xsempat :( takde rezeki la tu, takpe takpe next time, dengan zara la, ok tak zara? weee~
so sampai je sogo, naik food court dulu makan cos me & mr.k tak breakfast lagi. tapi i ended up eating alone cos ulser mr.k tak baik lagi. oh, jasmin makan tauhu cina with sup, pandai anak mami makan :)

then tibalah saat2 yang ditunggu, oh my sogo punya sale memang gila! and baby's stuff i tell you.... *geleng kepala while eyes rolling let's just leave it like that :)
i bought 4 pjs for jasmin, one cute top with leggings, socks, white leggings, one small nuk bottle... emm itu je kot. SIL bought her dress for the wedding, purple headband & one baju for jalan2. so yang takde baju for the wedding cuma la mr.k je. later ok honey :)

then sunday, banyak wedding to attend. pagi bangun macam biasa siapkan barang jasmin dulu, after done with her then baru mami boleh siap. since hari masih pagi, mr.k ajak ikut kak yah & abg sean's pre-wed. so went to taman layang layang. last minute tah macam mana tah kami dah sampai genting, can't remember who suggested it. so buat pre-wed kat atas sana, tu pun next week katanya nak sambung lagi but diff location pulak. after turun genting, gi wedding and balik tukar baju then off to ende's. by the time we reached there, dah pukul 10pm. so lepak2, tanya khabar, makan2 then balik la since MIL pun tak tidur rumah ende.

and yesterday, isnin still kena bangun pagi eventho it was PH, sabar je la. pagi2 kak yah dah ketuk pintu suruh bangun, so got up and same routine; get jasmin & her stuff ready bla bla bla then me bla bla bla same old same old :) while babah, mr.k, abg sean pasang basikal kat kereta. after that, breakfast kat shareezma @ nisma. mamak amik order tu memang mintak penampar! lain kali kalau datang makan kat situ kena bawak pinggan mangkuk sendiri baru la dorang tak boleh bagi alasan mangkuk takde grrr....

after mamak tu spoiled kan pagi isnin kitorg, the off to putrajaya :) sampai je, the boys sibuk turunkan basikal and we ladies naik atas lepak kat rumah kakak. kakak masak sawi goreng udang, daging masak kicap, daging salai, kuah asam & pucuk paku masak lemak yang awesome! tengs kakak, you have always been a good hostess :)

so what i am trying to tell here, walau cuti 3 hari ke 8 hari ke, tetap kena bangun awal @_@ menci!

sleepyhead ~

this morning i woke up around 5-something cos i felt something landed on my bum. turns out it was jasmin @_@ hadoi, dah la mengantuk sangat malam tadi, bole la pulak jellybean bangun ajak main pagi-pagi. so nak taknak kena la layan jugak, eventho dalam layan tu sempat curi-curi tidur. sekarang ni cepat sangat lupa yang my daughter is getting bigger by day, dalam curi-curi tidur tu rupanya dia perasan, KECEPEK! kena la tepuk muka ni, ajak jugak layan dia. haha

dalam pukul 7 baru la dia nak tidur after i fed her. by then, dah kena bangun siap2 nak ke ofis. hmm hopefully malam ni dia tidur nyenyak so her mami can sleep tight hehe selfish kan? :)

wah akhirnya berjaya jugak cari ini blog. have not been updating my blog for so long that i have actually forgotten my own password and username. can you actually believe that? *eyesrolling

anyway, berkat usaha tangga kejayaan i finally cracked the code and found my way into this blog. wohoo!~ *highfive

well, yesterday was in gombak. kakak & abg umar came and they bought jasmin her first ever soiming pool wohoo!~ (btw, that's how we, the zakwan clan would call a swimming pool. y u ask? cos we're awesome like that ;p) jasmin was a bit scared at first, keep trying to come out from the pool tapi of cos mami dia paksa jugak duduk dalam pool tu hehe lama2 terus ok sampai jerit2 happy kat dalam tu, sabar je la karenah jasmin ni :)

kebetulan pulak, the day before kak yah & abg sean belikan jasmin duckies hehe tunggu mika datang nanti bole soiming sama2 ye ~

since i cannot access internet from my phone so tak bole nak upload gambar jasmin dalam pool baru, so letaklah gambar jasmin dalam pool masa di rumbia, paka.
